Upon receiving his Medical Degree, he completed his ENT residency at the State University of New York, before undertaking his fellowship training in Otology/Neurotology at the Michigan Ear Institute. Dr. Peterson attributes his success to the discipline that his background in music gave him, as well as growing up with competitive brothers. When he is not assisting patients, Dr. Peterson enjoys playing professional Bassoon, skiing, softball, and participating in marathons.
