Dr. Caviness’ acclaimed career in medicine began in 1994 when he graduated with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Thereafter, he completed a residency in the Philadelphia Health System, before entering private practice. Dr. Caviness is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and remains a distinguished member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the California Podiatric Medical Association. He has dedicated his life to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his patients, and when he is not working, Dr. Caviness enjoys playing golf and woodworking, including the construction of his own golf clubs. Podiatric medicine is a branch of the medical sciences devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders resulting from injury or disease.
