A certified physician assistant, Loretta specializes in preventing and treating human illness and injury by providing a broad range of care. She is the CEO of Pure Life Family Practice and Medispa in Santa Fe, New Mexico. 

A 1999 graduate of The University of New Mexico School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, Loretta has completed 22 years in primary care. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). The NCCPA is the only certifying organization for physician assistants in the United States, offers the Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) designation to signify a higher level of clinical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and other medical skills and professional behaviors.

Practicing medicine in New Mexico, she believes in a holistic approach to treating her patients. 

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine. Loretta has been given collaborative status to practice medicine independently by the New Mexico Medical Board. Loretta can examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, physician assistants work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.
