Dr. Jeffrey J. Kraft, a highly qualified, board certified general and bariatric surgeon, is an integral part of the esteemed team of medical professionals at Advanced Laparoscopic Associates. As the Chief of the General Surgery Department at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center in New Jersey, Dr. Kraft leads with a wealth of experience in bariatric surgery. He is proficient in a range of bariatric procedures, including Lap-Band, Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG), Roux-en-Y (RNY), weight loss surgery revisions, and Single Anastomosis Duodenal Switch (SIPS).

Dr. Kraft’s academic journey includes earning Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Delaware, followed by a Medical Degree from Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois and a fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal, minimally invasive, and bariatric surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Kraft is actively involved in prestigious medical organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
