Frederick is a speech-language pathologist who provides services to adults who have been affected by strokes, traumatic brain injuries, voice disorders, and neurological deficits. Frederick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in legal communications from Howard University in 2006, followed by his Master of Education degree in communication sciences and disorders from North Carolina Central University in 2010. He is expected to graduate with his Master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2020. He is also expected to graduate with his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2021. 

Frederick has worked in various settings such as outpatient, in-patient rehab, intensive care unit, cardiac intensive care unit, and neurotrauma unit, palliative care, and home health. He also has experience administering, analyzing, and making clinical recommendations for treatment using various types of instrumentation. Some of these instruments include videostroboscopy and Modified Barium Swallow, to name a few.
