Mr. Hicks’ academic journey began with the Community College of the Air Force, where he earned two Associate degrees—one in Nursing and another in Cardiopulmonary Technology—graduating in 1978 and 1980, respectively. His pursuit of excellence continued with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Oklahoma, which he obtained in 1984 through the esteemed USAF Physician Assistant Program. This solid educational foundation has equipped him with a diverse skill set, enabling him to deliver high-quality healthcare to his patients.

A testament to his professional competence, Mr. Hicks is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, the only recognized certifying organization for Physician Assistants in the United States. This certification underscores his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of practice in the medical field.

In addition to his impressive academic credentials, Mr. Hicks is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having dedicated nearly 21 years of active service to his country. Retiring as a Captain in 1992, he transitioned into civilian life, where he has continued to impact the healthcare community positively. His military background not only instills a strong sense of discipline but also enhances his ability to connect with patients from all walks of life.
