Get to know Dentist Dr. Dominique R. Bonner(formerly known as Dr. Knox), who serves patients in Fairfax, Virginia.

A skilful dentist, Dr. Bonner works alongside Dr. Rasheeda Johnson, DDS, at Dentcare Now in Fairfax, Virginia. A profound believer in preventative and conservative dentistry, she works closely with her patients to create life-long dental plans that promote comprehensive oral health and confident smiles.

Born and raised in Illinois, Dr. Bonner discovered her love for dentistry at a very young age through her passion for making others smile. She migrated to Washington D.C. where she obtained her undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Howard University College of Dentistry. She then went on to complete her general practice and hospital dental residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York.

Having continued her dental education, Dr. Bonner is certified in administering BOTOX® for facial and TMJ pain. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Lynn’s Gift - a non for profit organization dedicated to providing empowerment, resources, and enrichment to the community. 

Among her professional affiliations, she is an active member of the following dental associations and organizations: the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the American Dental Association, the National Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

In her spare time, Dr. Bonner enjoys traveling and fitness.
