From Academia to Expertise: A Pathway in Cardiovascular Medicine in New York

Dr. Atul Deep Bali, a distinguished physician with a passion for cardiovascular medicine, has been making waves in the medical community with his extensive education and dedication to patient care.

Starting his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Bali’s commitment to medicine led him to Ross University School of Medicine, where he earned his Medical Degree in 2016. Following this, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital from 2017 to 2019, showcasing his dedication to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care.

Dr. Bali’s thirst for knowledge and specialization saw him embark on another residency in internal medicine at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Health System from 2019 to 2020. His journey continued with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Westchester Medical Center, where he delved into the intricacies of heart health and patient wellness, spanning from 2020 to 2023. 

Currently undertaking a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Lenox Hill Hospital, Dr. Bali is expected to complete his training in 2024, further enhancing his skills and expertise in cutting-edge cardiovascular interventions.

As a board certified physician in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Bali is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, underscoring his commitment to the highest standards of patient care. Additionally, his certifications in adult echocardiology by the National Board of Echocardiography, as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), highlight his dedication to staying current with the latest advancements in medical technology and techniques.

An active member of esteemed medical organizations such as the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Bali is not only committed to his patients’ well-being but also to advancing the field of cardiovascular medicine through research, education, and collaboration.
