Sherron S. Cook, a Certified Physician Assistant, holds the role of Adjunct Faculty member in the Physician Assistant Program at Northern Arizona University (NAU). In addition to her teaching role, Sherron sits on the advisory board for the National Center for American Indian Health Care Providers. A graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Sherron’s commitment to healthcare led her to work as a clinical research coordinator with the National Institutes of Health. This experience inspired her to pursue further education, earning a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Doctorate of Health Sciences in Leadership and Organizational Behavior from A.T. Still University in 2008 and 2019, respectively.

Throughout her career, Sherron has demonstrated a special interest in diabetes prevention, providing care in diverse healthcare settings across Arizona. From Community Health Centers to Indian Health Service Centers, she has honed her skills in establishing meaningful patient relationships and helping individuals achieve their health goals.

As an active member of professional organizations such as the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Associates, Sherron stays current with industry trends and advancements. She credits her success to the unwavering support of her network and values the importance of collaboration in healthcare delivery.
