What do you attribute your success to?
Encouragement and support provided by family, friends, and colleagues. The strong clinical foundation derived from my 16-month graduate program at Adelphi University. A passion to learn and grow through direct practice work; persistence, compassion, and dedication to the Field.
Philanthropic Initiatives
Philanthropy is an inherent quality in my field of practice; many practitioners focus on one or more specialty areas, to assist and support with the needs of those in struggle/conflict. Beyond professional practice lies my personal interest in health, fitness & the outdoor experience. Having family members and friends who experience a history of diabetes, I have acquired general knowledge about its symptoms, course and manageability. My interest lies in supporting a cause, to prevent and ameliorate the effects of diabetes. This has led to my involvement with American Diabetes Association (ADA), through an annual cycling event called Tour de Cure. ADA is responsible for the education, advocacy, and funding of research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes.
