Dr. Arias is a trusted psychiatrist who provides therapeutic health services for adults and children that are high-quality, convenient, and affordable. He works at Elite DNA Therapy Services in Port Charlotte, Florida. 

Elite DNA Therapy Services is one of the largest mental health providers in Southwest Florida. Although originally focusing on children, services have expanded to adults and families as well as substance abuse treatments. The goal of the practice is to help individuals and families manage psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues. Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Arias received his medical degree from East Central University in the Domenican Republic in 1985. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in psychiatry at Boston Medical Center in 1992, followed by his fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1994.

With over three decades of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists. 

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.

In honor of his clinical expertise, Dr. Arias has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctor, and as a Top Doctor in Gulfshore Life Magazine (2011 – 2019). He is also the recipient of Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2016) and Patients’ Choice Award (2016, 2017).
