    The quick answer is yes. They will obtain labs during pre-op and again on the day of surgery to confirm you’re within acceptable ranges to safely undergo sedation. It’s important to follow your surgeons and anesthesiologists guidelines leading up to and after the surgery, as having diabetes does increase the risk of problems such as delayed healing.
