Get to know Family Physician Dr. Anh Truong, who serves patients in Vienna, Virginia.

Dr. Truong is a primary care physician board-certified in family medicine. She joined Inova Health System in 2020, seeing patients at Vienna Family Medicine.

Vienna Family Medicine is part of the Fairfax Family Practice Centers, which has provided quality family practice care to Northern Virginia since 1971 and more recently has partnered with Inova to deliver comprehensive, high quality, personal care to patients throughout the region. The physicians and physician assistants are board-certified and dedicated to providing medical care specifically tailored to patients’ needs and the needs of their families.

Having grown up in the Northern Virginia area, Dr. Truong graduated with her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2016. She then went on to perform her residency in family medicine at Bon Secours St Francis in 2019, after which she returned to the Richmond area. 

Maintaining privileges at Inova Loudoun Ambulatory Surgery Center, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. 

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
