Get to know Homeopathic Medical Doctor, Dr. Corazon Ibarra, who serves patients in Reno, Nevada.

Dr. Ibarra, (known by staff and patients as Dr. Cora), is the Founder and Medical Director of Bio Integrative Health Center International in Reno, Nevada. She is an accomplished clinician in homeopathic and bio integrative medicine, with over 30 years of global medical experience. 

Her aim is to educate in order to stabilize trust and confidence with her patients, because she was a once patient too. She also provides emotional, spiritual and nutritional support, letting her patients know their options and giving them the choice to take the path that is right for them.

“I want them to understand how they are healing. Healing is not coming from the doctor. It’s from the inside. I don’t just have them take this or do that. I am a coach, teacher, and counselor” expressed Dr. Cora. 

Guiding individuals on their journey to wellness, Bio Integrative Health Center International is a leader in integrative and homeopathic medicine in Reno, Tahoe, Carson City & Northern Nevada. Using the best of Western and Eastern medicine, the practice focuses on integrative healing, which includes homeopathic medicine, offering world-class treatments for health, longevity, and well-being. Its goal is to help each individual understand their body better so that they can become the best version of themselves. 

Graduating with her medical degree from Southwestern University in Cebu City, Philippines, Dr. Cora received the 2007 Award as one of their 10 most accomplished graduates. She then went on to perform her internship and residency in pulmonary medicine at Philippine Veterans Hospital, and her fellowship at St. Anna Hospital Herne in Germany.

After working as an anesthesiologist for eight years, the constant stress finally took its toll on her body. Skeptical, but desperate to regain her health, alternative medicine was Dr. Cora’s last option. She became a patient and unbeknownst to her, took her first step on a path that would lead her to a wonderful career and life change. She became a graduate and Fellow of the British Institute of Homeopathy, as well as completed certifications in Chelation Therapy, Electroacupuncture, and Bio-Oxidative Medicine.

A renowned international lecturer, author, and medical consultant, Dr. Cora is a Dubai Licensed Homeopathic Medical Doctor, a Nevada Licensed Homeopathic and Integrative Physician, and the Vice-President of the Nevada Homeopathic Board of Medical Examiners.

Among her professional affiliations, she is an active member of the IC Integrated Medicine Association, the International Society of Homeopathy and Homotoxicology, and G U N A Society.

Attributing her success to hard work and focus, Dr. Cora is published in several prestigious medical journals and has spoken in Greece, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines on treating diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, kidney disorders, allergies, autism, and various cancers.

Homeopathy or homoeopathy is a pseudoscientific system of alternative medicine. A Homeopathic Medical Doctor (HMD) assesses patients by asking them in-depth questions about their health problems, lifestyle, medical history, diet, and personality. Through this holistic approach, they draw up prescriptions for their patients and then track their progress through follow-up appointments.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cora enjoys playing the piano. Her favorite professional publication is The New England Journal of Medicine.
