Get to know Behavior Analyst, Glenn Scott Harrell Jr., who serves patients in Texas.

An exceptional behavior analyst, Glenn is the CEO and Clinical Operations Director of Roger Williams Academy LLC, where he is responsible for implementing strategies, ensuring treatment fidelity, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. He has over ten years of experience in applied behavior analysis, organizational behavior management, and developmental disabilities, which has helped him lead organizations in various settings, including hospitals, residential centers, and universities.

Praised for his warm, empathetic, and knowledgeable approach to therapy, his specialties include autism, Aspergers, ADHD, depression, social anxiety, and parent training. His therapy style prioritizes Pivotal Response Training (PRT), which helps clients use their natural motivation to achieve their goals. Additionally, he incorporates Discrete Trial Training (DTT) to increase the rate of skill acquisition.

Originally from North Philadelphia, Glenn developed a love for academic excellence early on. He attended several special admissions schools, including Andrew Hamilton’s Academic Advancement Program and Elverson Military Academy. After graduating from Elverson, he received academic and athletic scholarships worth over $5 million and attended Valley Forge Military Academy & College, where he was accepted into the Early Commission Program.

Academically, he holds four college degrees, including an Associate of Science degree in Life Science Biology from Valley Forge Military Academy, a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology, an MBA in Healthcare Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a Master of Education degree in Special Education with an Emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University.

Described as the “Child Whisperer” and “Mr. Mary Poppins”, Glenn believes that everyone can learn and grow, provided they receive individualized instruction in an environment conducive to success. He lives by Paulo Freire’s quote, “There is no teaching without learning.”

On a more personal note, he currently resides in Houston, Texas, with his wife, daughter, and two dogs, Caiden & Cody. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports and participating in sports leagues, including basketball and boxing. He hopes to someday build a farmhouse with his wife.
