An established cardiologist, Dr. Samman is in practice at Clear Lake Cardiovascular Consultants in Webster, Texas.

Before embarking on his professional journey, he graduated with his medical degree from the University of Damascus in Syria in 1983. After relocating to the United States, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa in 1994, before completing his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in 1999.

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).

Among his various accolades, Dr. Samman has been the recipient of the Patients' Choice Award (2018), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2018).
