Get to know Certified Physician Assistant, Jason Trust, who serves patients in Seattle, Washington.

A certified physician assistant, Jason is affiliated with the Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake in Seattle, Washington. He brings a wealth of experience encompassing both procedural and clinical aspects, honing his skills in navigating challenging scenarios with ease.

Specializing in interventional cardiology, some of the conditions and symptoms that Jason tends to include chronic total occlusion, aortic valve stenosis and regurgitation, mitral valve stenosis and regurgitation, coronary artery disease, tricuspid valve stenosis and regurgitation, and atrial septal defect. To treat these conditions, he employs a range of advanced procedures and treatments such as Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) PCI, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair (TMVR), tricuspid valve repair (tricuspid clip), Mitral valve repair (mitraclip), Left Atrial Appendage (LAAO, LAAC, Watchman) closure, and Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closure.

Graduating with his Degree from the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest in 2020, Jason attained certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 2023.

Moreover, he holds licenses and certifications as an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experienced Provider (ACLS), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS), and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. They examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, they work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.

On a more personal note, Jason enjoys spending time with family, as well as getting involved in real estate and home improvement projects.
