About

I am a Ob/ Gyn who after 20 years gave up obstetrics. I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at Drexel University and Arcadia University.

I am a certified Menopause Practitioner through North American Menopause Society.  I was Chairman of the Consumer Education Department of The North American Menopause Society.  I am the second physician in the state of PA. to be certified by AASECT as a Sex Counselor. I am an active member of the International Society for Women's Sexual Health and I am fellow of the organization. I am also a member of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases and a member of the Psychosexual  Committee where we write important evidence based documents about female sexual health.  I am also a member of Society of Sexual Medicine, the International Pelvic Pain Society,  the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), the  Gay and Lesbian Medical Association and World Professional Association for Transgender Health. I am also a member of the  American Sexually Transmitted Diseases Association . I received my certificate  in Sex Counseling thru the University of Michigan Social Work Dept.  I am also involved with www.will2love.com which  is a wonderful resource to support cancer survivors for sexual wellness and parenthood. The National Vulvodynia Association is a very important association which I am also involved with for helping women of all ages deal with pelvic muscle dysfunction.

I love to care for women in all stages of life from young to mature. I actively lecture to patients and other health care providers on subjects ranging from depression, contraception, menopause,  sexual health and osteoporosis. I  mentor  female medical students through American Medical women's association  and I am also on the membership committee at AMWA.
