So sorry to hear about your major relentless headache for the last week.

We recommend seeing your primary care physician for a thorough physical exam and be referred to a neurologist and obtain a brain MRI, if indicated, to rule out underlying brain problems. In the meantime, avoid alcohol, cheeses, caffeine is either worsening or improving the headache depending on the timing. Stress does not help and should be avoided andake sure your blood pressure is controlled.

Warm wishes,

Dear lady with the headache and vertigo,

It is best to investigate without the worrying factor as so many things can be at the origin of those symptoms. From dehydration to visual causes, from gastrointestinal issues to anxiety, from allergies to Covid, from old trauma with head contusion. In brief, stay in touch with healthy habits of hydration, proper nutrition including pre- and pro-biotic, and avoid stress. The brain MRI should rule out any intracranial causes.
I wish you a reassuring diagnosis and prompt healing.
