Dr. Ayal Willner is a board-certified otolaryngologist who treats patients at Southern California Ear, Nose, and Throat in Long Beach, California. Dr. Willner practices all facets of otolaryngology, including general and pediatric care. In addition to his role at SCENT, Dr. Willner is very involved with his local hospitals, something he thinks is crucial as a physician. He has served as the Vice Section Chief and Section Chief of the otolaryngology department at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center/Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital, as well as Vice-Chair of pediatric surgery. Wanting to ensure that the care that each child receives at Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital is the best care possible, Dr. Willner devotes a substantial amount of time to Miller’s Physician Excellence Committee.

Dr. Ayal Willner graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY in 1988, earning his medical degree. From there, he completed his internship and residency in otolaryngology before completing his Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee in 1994. Apart from his clinical appointment, Dr. Willner is extremely hands-on in his community. He is a member of several boards, such as Miller’s Children’s Specialty Group, Young Judaea Global, and Mending Kids. With Mending Kids, Dr. Willner has led a number of medical missions to Tanzania and Guatemala, and also performs surgeries locally through the program. He loves being able to make his little corner of the world a bit better.
