What foods should I avoid with braces?
Hard, sugary foods mostly.
Can I straighten my teeth without getting braces?
Yes. Invisalign treatment.
What drinks to avoid with braces?
The colored liquids can stain the teeth and the areas around the brackets if you oral hygiene practices are fair to poor.
What drinks to avoid with Invisalign?
In theory, you should only drink clear liquids. I tested all drinks on myself. I drank everything from coffee to water and noticed no problems.

Depends on the cause of the pain. Is it the braces? Cavity? Gum disease?

I would use the Waterpik product that combines the brush with the water spray.

I’ve never done lingual braces. But since Invisalign came out, I have no need to use them or clear braces.

Depends. In my office, the price is virtually the same.
Can I chew gum with braces?
No. Gum is prohibited along with dozens of other things.
