I had a neck CT done that came back normal. My neck still hurts?

Are dental CT scans dangerous?
Any radiation has some risk. My question would be why do they need the scan and is the risk (although small) worth the benefit.

Yes. You might have had a mild reaction. Take Benedryl for symptom relief. Seek medical attention if you feel it in your throat OR have difficulty breathing.
