Usually tendonitis of some of the calf muscles, but there are other more serious causes. Usually treated with rest, rehab, and gradual return to sport.
How is the recovery for ACL tear surgery?
After ACL surgery, there is a period of crutches. Usually 6 weeks. Then physical therapy for 3-4 months. Return to sport is usually 6-9 months.
What kind of surgery is done for tennis elbow?
Usually none in a 28 year old. Tennis elbow surgery involves tendon repair of the muscles at the elbow.

Unlikely. Injuries cause pain. The only variable is for how long they cause pain.

Start in the gym, but start SLOWLY with the weights. A personal trainer session or 2 may be of help.
