If you don't have any allergies you can take over the counter and by anti acid like zantac, Nexium, Prilosec to relief the symptoms. Abstain from alcohol, and anti inflammatories like advil, aleve. But its imperative that you go to see your primary care, Internist, Family Medicine, as the only way to diagnose gastritis or an ulcer is by endoscopy. They can refer you to a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy.
