Dip one end of a twisted wash cloth in water, place it in the freezer, have her hold the dry end and have her chew on the cold end. Cold waffles, half frozen apple sauce, and yogurt are also good. I have heard amber teething necklaces work well, but I would only have them wear them when they are under direct supervision.

It depends. Most kids do grow of out of it. The main reason kids grind when they are young is because the shape of the TMJ is still developing and changing due to the growth. The TMJ matures around age 8 when grinding is usually resolved. However, airway issues have to be ruled out as well. During allergy season some kids tend to grind more and that's ok. If it's constant and habitual, then other problems will need to be ruled out. Mouthguards are hard to wear for children and with their growing jaws it can restrict growth.

I would readdress the issue with her dentist and make sure there are no other underlying issues if grinding is persistent.

If you see no change in brushing with a different toothpaste and brushing her tongue, I would pay a visit to her dentist.

Whitening should not be performed on kids younger than 12. Thereafter not more than once a year.

My child accidentally ate toothpaste. What should I do?

Just the normal pea size amount of toothpaste is not a worry if swallowed. I would worry if it were a whole tube she swallowed, but not a time or two.

Is delayed teething in kids normal?

I would raise a red flag past the age of 15 months. Otherwise, cross your fingers and your toes that one pops up soon!

Are teeth whitening toothpastes actually good?

For daily whitening, yes they are safe and effective. Avoid charcoal toothpaste though.

Are mouthwashes safe for kids?

I would make sure they are spitting mouthrinses out. One with fluoride in it is the way to go. Act for kids is what I usually recommend.

My 3 year old daughter grinds her teeth. Is this okay?

Grinding is extremely common in kids. I would consult with her dentist to see if there is any evident wear on her teeth and take it from there.

Does bottle feed impact the teeth in a baby?

As long as you are brushing her teeth (once she gets them in) after her last nightly bottle, then it should not affect her teeth. No worries, mama!

My daughter's milk teeth have still not fallen. What is the normal age?

Every child is different. Usually around age 5.5 to 7 years old. If she still has not lost any, I would have her dentist take a few X-rays to see where they are.
