Good evening and happy holidays,
Usually, the fastest method to check for liver disease is through a blood test. There are chemicals in the liver that will tell your physician if the liver is healthy or not. Recently, there are some tests developed for in-home use. Innovation is the blood tests are abnormal, then radiology testing is done, for example, CT scans, sonograms, etc. When there is liver disease, usually a gastroenterologist will follow up the issue.

They should not be faulty, however, that urine, if it was fresh, should have gotten to the lab before the end of the day, and if it got there after and it was fresh, then the results will be faulty. Those urines always have to be refrigerated so, hopefully, the courier that took the urine to the lab or the lab refrigerated the sample.
Good luck.

Yes a Gleason score 3 + 4 is different from a Gleason score 4 + 3 although they both add 7. The fact is that the highest the number the more aggressive the tumor will be and the highest is the percentage of patients that would have recurrence of an increase in the prostate specific antigen PSA in 5 years. Basically the Gleason score is a grading system based on the histology of the two most predominant patterns in the biopsy. The more the tumor resembles normal tissue the lower the number. Gleason patterns run from 1 to 5 and the two main patterns in the biopsy are added up. I find this article very informative an easy to understand. Your Gleason 3 4 has better
prognosis and outcomes than a Gleason 4 3.

PIN is the short for "prostatic intraepithelial neoplasm" . It is a condition seen in prostate biopsies and it is the pathologist who sees it see under the microscope. The cells are funny-looking or atypical, but not consider to be cancerous, PIN has been considered a sort of precursor for prostate cancer.
PIN itself does not appear to invade the surrounding normal tissue.
PIN that it is most likely just that precursor cells that are not cancer.
If high-grade PIN is found in multiple cores or if it is present in tissue from both sides of the prostate, right and left, then a repeat biopsy will be recommended.
