Sure, Interventional radiologists place a catheter into the artery supplying the uterus and inject small plastic sand like particles which stop the blood supply of the uterus. This basically starves the fibroids and they eventually shrink. This treatment treats the entire uterus just like hysterectomy effectively treating all fibroids and unlike myomectomy which can potentially leave some fibroids behind after the procedure.
