Change the lenses regularly. Take the lenses out 1 hour before sleeping. Make sure you clean the cases daily with fresh solution, let them dry out daily.

If you have a soft lens, touch the side of the lens and squeeze the lens between your fingers. If you have a hard lens, you can open the eyelids and squeeze them tight with your fingers on the lid and the lids outside the pupil and then close the eyelids with pressure from the fingers, pushing the lens out of the eye.
