I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. There are several reasons why she may be resisting to urinate/having accidents.
1) It is possible that it is painful when she is passing urine making her reluctant to use the bathroom until "the last second." The presence of any superficial abrasions in the vaginal area can cause irritation/pain when urine touches these surfaces. These abrasions are common in this age group, especially since children can sometimes unknowingly use too much force when wiping after urinating.
2). She may have a urinary tract infection (UTI), which can making urinating very painful. UTI also can cause increased frequency of urination and urinary incontinence.
3). Another common reason for increased urination is constipation. As stool builds up, the mass of the stool in the bowels can press down on the urinary bladder, thereby causing the sensation of having to use the bathroom even if there is very little urine in the bladder. This usually manifests as a child who frequently complains of having to use the bathroom but only passes a little urine when s/he actually goes.
These are just some of the reasons why your child may be having these symptoms. To be certain, I would recommend that you take your child to her primary care doctor for a more thorough evaluation. Hope this helps!
