Is a CT scan done under anesthesia?

Rarely needs general anesthesia, especially with newer, faster CT scanners

I'm having a nose job. Will the anesthesia affect my high blood pressure?

Your blood pressure should be well controlled before undergoing any elective procedure.

Are you put to sleep for an endoscopy?

All of our patients receive a general anesthetic with Propofol.

Why was son confrontational after anesthesia?

Disinhibition. Usually very short in duration

Unlikely, usually due to the pregnancy itself. Should resolve.

Can you be put under anesthesia for an endoscopy?

Yes, Propofol is generally used with most endoscopies.

Can you be put to sleep for a root canal while pregnant?

No. Most anesthesiologists would reccomend against it

Not an allergy. Common side effect of anesthesia especially gases. Tell your next Anesthesiologist about your N&V

Very uncommon, some minor recollection usually without pain. Most often just words heard in the OR

Is anesthesia safe for a person who suffers with seizures?

Absolutely, take your usual meds. You will do great!

What if my anesthesia stops working in the middle of the surgery?

Won't happen. It's not a parking meter. You will be asleep until you're surgeon is finished.
