Jillian’s modeling career began at an open casting audition for Diesel Jeans. When the interviewers asked her why she wanted to become a model, she stoutly proclaimed that she wanted to cause a lasting impression on the industry, and change (for the better) the modeling world. After gauging the extent of her resolve, Diesel granted her wish by portraying Jillian in all her splendor, a movement that also spurred the company to begin a trend of inclusiveness in the industry, which paved the way for other disabled would-be models to give their dreams a chance.
