Be mindful of calcium consumption

When we are young, our parents tell us to drink our milk so we will have strong and healthy bones. What most people don't realize is that this applies to adults as well. Calcium is incredibly important in strengthening the bones and keeping them healthy. Also keep in mind that your body needs to be able to absorb all that calcium or it will go to waste. Vitamin D is the nutrient that can boost your calcium absorption, so adding it into your diet is necessary as well. Good sources of calcium include yogurt, cheese, milk, spinach, and collard greens. To get your Vitamin D levels up, look for fatty fish (salmon, tuna, etc.), eggs, and milk.
