So, where does this donation go, and why is it important? Each and every day CMN hospitals treat 16,000 children in emergency rooms, 935 children who have diabetes, 2,329 children who need surgery, 2,218 children who have cancer, and 925 babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. Every minute, 62 children enter a CMN hospital. 32 million patient visits are made possible by CMN for 10 million children each year. One in ten children in North America are treated in a CMN hospital every year. Clearly, donations are crucial for the amount of children they impact, and the absolute necessity for such programs.
