Are Robots the Nurses of the Future?
With the growing nursing shortage, there is also a growing amount of people who need care.
The problem, however, is that there are not enough personnel to care for a large population of patients. For this reason, citizens are forced to abandon their jobs to care for their loved ones, which directly impacts the country’s economy. Those who do not work in the field of healthcare and are forced to abandon their job to look after their family typically have high stress and fatigue. This has led Japan to use robotics to help care for these people in need.
