“Are tooth implants painful?”
I have a missing tooth and want to replace it. Are tooth implants painful?

Placing an implant is a surgery, and it can be expected that there will be a healing process. This said, because the implant process is to make a precise space in the gums/bone that the implant fully fills the healing time and pain is minimal. The only time the procedure can have moderate to severe poin is if there are any underlying health problems or issues with the implant or site that causes it to start to fail. If this is the case then you may have to have the implant removed and fix the underlying condition and try again.
