Back pain is a common ailment in today's world. ibuprofen and alternating with ice and heat can eleviate some discomfort. However, having a healthy back takes work. Core strengthening exercises, when done properly, can build proper muscle support. Also, practice good ergonomic body mechanics when lifting and exercising to prevent further injury. Avoid opioids as these can cause constipation, which can increase back pain, and too much opioid use can cause not only addiction but decrease their effectiveness. try a more natural approach if at all possible before resorting to stronger meds. Acupuncture is also a very goood treatment for this. Follow up with your care provider if symproms get worse or not improving.
Yes...but with Absolute Care! A physician's prescription is needed. Take for as short a time as possible. Beware of taking pain medication!!! It is addictive!
