Acupuncture with herbs, and sometimes massage, can be very effective with GI problems gradually. I suggest you try it for your stomach issues.

Yes. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief.
Acupuncture can be very helpful in the treatment of stomach/digestive issues.

Yes. It can.
Acupuncture is absolutely brilliant, effective, and pretty much 99% effective at handling complex digestive imbalances.
Yes, acupuncture is part of a holistic medical system. Acupuncture points exist on lines or channels on the surface of the body that correspond to different organ systems such as the stomach or the lungs for instance. The insertion of a thin acupuncture needle into the skin triggers the body to initiate biochemical reactions in that organ.

Yes, very effective.
Acupuncture and herbs can provide relief and cure many stomach or other digestive conditions.

Alexandre Hillairet, DAOM.
Yes absolutely.
What kind of issues? Acupuncture fails more often than not because the practitioner either is not really trained in acupuncture (doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists) who have tremendous lobbying power to allow them into our field with inadequate training. Or the patient doesn't show up enough. So, find a fully trained acupuncturist... ask questions about their education. If not, you aren't really trying acupuncture and you are just letting someone clueless poke you with needles.
Good luck. I would recommend a bit more specificity and history if you want a real answer here...

Yes, acupuncture can help many stomach problems.
Acupuncture is highly effective in treating GI issues.
It depends on what the issue is. If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest first visiting your primary care physician and possibly getting a referral to a GI specialist. There are several gastric/stomach issues which fall outside the scope of acupuncture for treatment, and you need to make sure you're not dealing with one of those.

If it's not something serious like cancer, bleeding ulcer, or bowel obstruction then, yes, acupuncture can often be an effective treatment for stomach issues.

This is one of those cases where it's important to make sure you're seeing a provider who attended and graduated from an accredited school of Chinese medicine rather than someone who took a weekend seminar or two and is now offering 'acupuncture-like' services under the scope of some other licensure. Your provider should have either an L.Ac. or R.Ac. credential from the state and a Dipl Ac or Dipl OM national board certification. To find someone like this near you, go to NCCAOM.org and use their 'Find a Practitioner' lookup.
