Can fluoride treatment reverse cavities?

I have small cavities. Can fluoride treatment reverse cavities?

Not usually
Floride can make the teeth more resistant to dacay and can retard ,or stop, the progression of decay. However, once the enamel and/or dentin is damaged, ithey fo fon grow back. Once a cavitt has penetrated the enamel and progressed into the dentine, the cavith should be restored.
Once its past the enamel layer, then most likely not. But if just starting signs into the outer surfaces of enamel it can. Cheers!
Research suggests fluoride combines with enamel and makes it more dense and less susceptible to decay.
If a cavity has not progressed into dentin, fluoride can remineralize and reverse the cavity.
Fluoride can remineralize the start of a cavity (incipient lesion), but once there is a cavitation it is a physical void in the enamel and therefore no longer has a matrix for the fluoride to rebuild on.
Fluoride treatment can stop those cavities yes
Yes, fluoride can prevent, stop them from getting worse, and reverse small cavities. However, nothing beats brushing 2x/day and flossing 1x/day
