No. The most common complication of kidney biopsy is blood loss in the urine and it will stop in few days after the procedure. Reasons that your healthcare provider want to do a kidney biopsy is hematuria (blood in urine), proteinuria (protein in the urine), abnormal blood test and acute or Chronic kidney disease. with no clear cause.The recovery is 24 hours.
