It really depends on the type and extent of the degeneration. Chiropractic has been very successful with mild to moderate cases of hip arthritis but if there is bone on bone due to deterioration of the cartilage, these usually require a hip replacement. Jay H Schwartz, DC, DIBCN, DIBE
