A good washing with soap and water. Works wih your hands too.
The best way to do this is no different than cleaning our hands. Simple soap and hot water will clean the lenses, remove bacteria and viruses, and be safe for all parts of the glasses. Make sure you get into all the tight spaces, like the nose pads, insides of hinges, and so on.

The virus does not survive on inanimate objects for more than a few minutes. Unless someone else is wearing or handling your glasses, there should be no reason to fear pink eye or conjunctivitis from glasses.
Great question I am an eye plastic surgeon so I don't really deal with glasses I would ask the person you purchased the glasses from if alcohol can be used to clean them. Dr. Bortz
I would wipe them down with 70% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Glenn Campbell, MD Naples, FL
