I will have PRK surgery. How long is a hospital stay after PRK surgery?

No hospital stay is needed. It's a few minutes to do the procedure and a short recovery time in the aftercare room.
It is not done in hospital, but rather in office. Procedure is about 3-5 minutes for both eyes. Stay about 30 minutes then go home with instructions. Todd Bragin,MD FACS
