Excellent question! In the world of surgery, skin and fat alone don’t hurt that much and thus mastopexy alone is relatively not painful and Maoist patients recover within days.
Hello, a breast lift, without a breast augmentation (implants) is not really painful. on a scale of 1-10, it is 2-3. However, since the skin is under tension, you must be very careful and restrain from most activities and exercising for a few months. For further information, you can visit my website, at Drroya.com. Good luck!

A breast lift is less painful than a tummy tuck or caesarian section, but more painful than a facelift or a rhinoplasty.
Hello, thank you for your answer.

Although breast lift is a major procedure, it has a pretty easy recovery period. Pain is minimal, if any, and unless there are complications with healing, the patient can return to her everyday activities in a couple of days after surgery.
A breast lift is not very painful and can be relieved with over-the-counter medication.
This is not a simple operation. So, there is pain which is very manageable with pain medication. If the operation is done right, you do your job as the patient, it is very manageable. And if the results suit you, you will gladly accept the pain with the pain meds you are given. AND follow the instructions from your doctor.
A breast lift is not particularly painful for most patients , but expect some soreness and tender spots for a few months afterwards. Most patients tell me that it doesn’t rise to the level of needing pain killers.

If done well and carefully planned to minimize bruising, a lift or mastopexy does not need to be extremely painful. No muscle is cut so that helps a lot. Compared to a tummy tuck or liposuction, most would say it is much less painful. Of course, pain is extremely subjective and varied between people, so take that with a grain of salt.
Not painful at all, just some discomfort

Hello. I am Dr. Filiberto Rodriguez. In response to your question regarding pain after breast lift surgery, I can honestly say that in my hands, my breast lift patients have zero pain. Now, if they elect to add on breast implants or liposuction, then they tend to feel some tightness (but very little pain) from the implants, and some soreness in the areas of liposuction. I hope this helps answer your question.
Many patients are back to work in 3 to 5 days. The pain medication or ibuprofen will make you comfortable enough to rest.
Generally it is not a painful operation. However perception of pain varies from person to person. If a breast implant is required with the breast lift or mastopexy there is usually more discomfort
