How tight should my post surgery bra be?

I had breast augmentation 5 days ago and the bra is tight. How tight should my post surgery bra be?

Should be snug, not uncomfortable.
These should be snug and supportive. It does not have to be too tight. The goal is to take a little bit of the tension off of the incision. Supportive and non-irritating to the Incision site is best. Don’t feel like you have to have it too tight.

This all depends on your surgeon. Some surgeons don't want you to wear a
bra at all. I personally do a medium support bra. You don't want the bra
too tight as to not allow your implants to drop or displaced them too much.
I would follow up with your plastic surgeon for an exact answer.

Hi, The bra should typically be firmly supportive around the breasts without feeling like a straight jacket. The band should fit comfortably around the chest. You best option, however, is to check with your surgeon if you have concerns.
I have my patients wear what feels comfortable. In fact if you are having a straight forward augmentation I think it helps your implants settle quicker if you let gravity do it’s thing.
