If you're experiencing ankle pain, it's recommended to consult with a podiatrist for a comprehensive evaluation. Dr. Jose Loor can assess the underlying cause of your ankle pain, provide a proper diagnosis, and offer targeted treatment options.

Yes,if he has copies of x rays and a good history of your problem. He can manipulate your ankle to increase range of motion-but you better tell him if he's going too far..can cause a real problem!
It depends on the cause of the pain. If it is pain that caused by a pinched nerve in your back, then yes. If it is caused by degenerative joint disease, then no.
It is my opinion that unless your ankle pain is related to a spinal issue, a chiropractor is not the doctor I would see for my issue.
I would recommend a podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon. Physical therapy is often helpful, but you need an rx from a physician first.

I would recommend seeing a foot and ankle specialist. There are things in regard to the ankle that cannot just be adjusted
Not really. The best a Chiropractor could do would be to massage your ankle because they are not permitted by law to do any invasive procedures or prescribe medication. You should be evaluated by a Podiatric Surgeon who is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Typically not the specialist you would need unless there as specific capsule joint adhesions a chiropractor can break up. You would first benefit from an accurate diagnosis to see what you are treating. Make an appointment with a Podiatrist for a comprehensive work up, not every diagnosis is straightforward to make, may require x rays, MRI or ultrasound in addition to clinical exam in the office.
Chiropractors typically specialize in back and neck pain. You would have to reach out to them to see what they advise. Ankle pain is usually assessed and treated by orthopedists or podiatrists.
Yes. Chiropractors are good at looking at the overall posture for alignment. But if you injured your ankle, then I recommend a podiatrist.
A chiropractor may be good for ankle pain, but it also depends on what is causing the pain. Each profession (chiropractor, orthopedic surgeon, podiatric physician, etc.) may take a different approach to diagnosing and treating injuries. Keep in mind that chiropractors do not perform surgery so your treatment will be limited to within their scope of practice. Seeing a specialist that treats both surgically and non-surgically, such as a podiatric physician, will give you a more complete discussion of available treatment options.
If there is anything seriously wrong, there is nothing a chiropractor can do, besides, they are not licensed to prescribe anything for your pain. A podiatrist or orthopedist would be best.
It could be helpful if the problem was an overuse type injury or biomechanical abnormality. If there’s truly a structural defect in the ankle you will need to see a specialist such as a Podiatrist. If medications for inflammation are necessary a chiropractor is not licensed to provide this service. Chiropractors to have anti-inflammatory modalities that can be helpful.
No. A chiropractor would not be good for ankle pain. It is not their area of expertise. There are many causes for ankle pain and many treatments ranging from conservative to surgical. A foot and ankle specialist (podiatrist) can obtain imaging of the bones and soft tissue, determine biomechanical imbalances, and perform manual testing maneuvers to determine why the ankle pain is occurring. Based on a full examination, treatment may include immobilization, bracing, injection therapy, or surgical intervention. Some issues that cause pain in the ankle may have a root cause in the foot as well.
A chiropractor may help with the pain, but can not 'fix' your ankle or foot. They can manipulate the bones and joints and possibly get them into a better alignment, but if there is something actually wrong, they can not fix the problem.
A foot and ankle surgeon would be best to manage ankle pain. This would allow a more cohesive treatment plan as they can manage conservative and surgical options that may be needed.
