Is implant surgery painful?

I will get a dental implant surgery. Is implant surgery painful?

Implant surgery is invasive, but healing is relatively favorable. Local anesthetic is used during the procedure, nitrous (laughing gas) is a great option for anxiety relief in addition to local anesthetic.
No, patients are surprised. Implant placement is more comfortable ghan having a tooth removed.
usually not. A very simple procedure done with anesthetic like any other dental work
I would say NO. The local anesthesia will usually make the area numb so that the implant placement should not be painful. You will probably be a little sore in that area afterwards but nothing terrible. Go for it. The use of the implant afterwards will be well worth it.
