I have an eye infection. Is saltwater good for an eye infection?

Please DO NOT USE SALTWATER, especially if it is home-made. You should have your "infection" analyzed by a doctor or an eye doctor ASAP. Eye infections can include conjunctivitis problems of which there are many, scratched corneas which can "mimic" an infection, styes, or other more serious internal eye problems which create a red eye problem. Please do not "self-medicate" or "self treat" yourself because this can sometimes lead to bigger problems. See a doctor, please. Good luck and best wishes
