Urologist Questions Urologist

Possible STI?

My partner said he tested positive for gonorrhea but my test results came back today saying negative. Is it possible a UTI could have given him a false positive? He was having symptoms but I haven't had a single symptom.

A UTI won't cause a gonorrhea test to be positive. You should get checked.
It’s not likely to be a false positive. Make sure he gets treated.

Your sex partner could have an infection, yes, and you might not have the symptoms and could test negative, but to play it safe, I would take equal treatment.
