Severe loss of sensitivity due to penis pump?

I used a penis pump several months ago but stopped after I started experiencing pain. Throughout the past few months I have had pain in my penis, typically intensifying the more I masturbated. About two weeks ago, after I started losing sensation in my frenulum. About one week ago, I started to lose sensation in the head of my penis, and then I stopped masturbating. The pain has started to subside however I have lost a great deal of sensation - it sort of feels like there's something covering my penis. I was wondering if this will be permanent, and if it will not be/could not be permanent, what do I need to do to fix it?

You may have some temporary superficial nerve damage to the dermatome that supplies the sensitivity of the skin on your penis. You should refrain from using any sex toys for the time being and seek consultation with your local urologist.
