I recently came across the term aerospace medicine specialist. What does aerospace medicine mean? What are the health aspects which are covered in aerospace medicine?

Aerospace Medicine focuses on physiologic factors that affect pilots and aircrew. Additionally, many medical conditions are adversely triggered in high altitude, high stress environments. Areas if interest is high altitude physiology, sleep issues from deviations from circadian rhythms, G-factors loads, vestibular disfunction, and physiologic stressors.
I served as a flight surgeon for about 20 years in the Air Force in the Air Force reserve, so I took care of pilots and their families.
